Terms of Use
The terms between SyncEtc and the people who use OneSource.
Last updated: 21 September 2026
Who this is between
These terms are between you, the person using OneSource, and SyncEtc, which builds and runs it. They apply whenever you use the product, whether you are a member of an organization, an administrator running one, or someone applying to join.
They are not an agreement between you and your organization. Your membership, your dues, your flying privileges and your standing are matters between you and the organization you belong to.
What the platform does
OneSource keeps one record of an organization's members and aircraft, and gives it the tools that read from that record: applications and membership, a booking calendar, maintenance and squawks, currency and documents, billing and reports.
OneSource is an administrative tool, not an authority on flight operations. Nothing in it replaces the aircraft flight manual, current regulations, a maintenance sign off, or your organization's own rules. Aircraft status, currency and requirements shown in the product can be out of date, and should be confirmed through official sources before you rely on them.
OneSource is not a compliance system
SyncEtc: OneSource is not a compliance system. Rather, it is scheduling and organization-management software. Features that track inspections, renewals, pilot currency, squawks, groundings or dispatch are conveniences to help your organization keep its own records. They do not determine airworthiness, pilot eligibility, or compliance with 14 CFR or any other law, regulation or standard, and you must not rely on them for that purpose. Your organization, its maintenance providers and each pilot in command remain solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including the pilot in command's own determination of airworthiness before flight. Information in OneSource may be incomplete, out of date or incorrect for any reason, including the fact that it may depend on data you or your users enter. SyncEtc makes no warranty that any reminder, status, warning, refusal or permission shown in OneSource is timely, accurate, or complete.
Your account
Keep your sign in details to yourself, and use an email address you actually control. Tell your organization if you think someone else has access to your account.
Use the product for what it is for. Do not try to reach records that are not yours, interfere with the service, or upload anything unlawful.
Your organization controls your access. If your membership ends, or an organization declines your application, your access to that organization goes with it.
What your organization controls
This is the part most people want to know, so it is worth being direct about it. Your organization decides:
- Who joins. It reviews applications and decides who is accepted, on its own terms.
- What it asks you for. It builds its own application form and decides which questions are required.
- What it keeps, and for how long. It can remove most of what it holds about you, and it cannot remove money records, what you agreed to, or the history of what happened. If you want yours removed, ask the organization.
- Who among its administrators/administrators can see what. It assigns the roles that control access to the more sensitive parts of your record.
- Whether it accepts members under 18, and what it collects about them. That is that organization's decision.
- What it charges you, and what its rules are for booking, currency and maintenance.
SyncEtc runs the platform, and does not make those decisions. We do not decide who is admitted, what is asked, what is kept, or what anything costs. If you disagree with one of those decisions, the organization is who to raise it with.
Texts and emails
The product sends email about things that happen in your organization, such as a booking, a maintenance notice, or a document that needs attention. You can choose which of these you receive from your profile.
Text messages are off unless you turn them on. If you turn them on, message frequency varies with your own activity, and message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel at any time. You can also turn them off from your profile, in the same place you turned them on.
Some messages are not optional, because they are about your account itself: confirming an email address, resetting a password, or a security notice.
How we handle your phone number is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Availability and limits
We work to keep OneSource available and correct, and we take backups. We do not promise that it will be available without interruption, or free of error. We may take it offline for maintenance, and we may change or withdraw features.
Keep your own copies of anything you must not lose. Records that matter to your flying, such as your certificates, your medical and your logbook, are yours to hold independently of any software.
To the extent the law allows, SyncEtc is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit or opportunity, or for loss arising from a decision your organization made using the product. We do not exclude anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These terms may be updated. If we make a significant change, we will say so in the product.
