Tach & Go User Terms
Last updated: October 12, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you, the person using Tach & Go, and SyncEtc LLC ("SyncEtc," "we"), which builds and runs it. They apply whenever you use Tach & Go, with any organization.
Your organization has its own rules and terms. Your membership, your dues, your privileges and your standing are between you and your organization, and SyncEtc is not part of that.
1. Tach & Go is not a compliance system. Tach & Go is scheduling and organization-management software. Reminders, statuses, warnings and permissions about inspections, currency, squawks, groundings or dispatch help your organization keep its records. They do not determine airworthiness, seaworthiness, roadworthiness or your eligibility to operate, and you must not rely on them for that. As pilot in command or operator, you remain solely responsible for your own compliance with the law and for determining that your aircraft, boat or vehicle is safe before you use it. Because information in Tach & Go depends on what its users enter, it may be incomplete, out of date or incorrect, and should be confirmed through official sources before each use of the equipment.
2. Your account. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, use an email address you control, and use your own account, not someone else's. If you think someone else has access to your account, tell your organization and us.
3. Using Tach & Go. Use Tach & Go only for your organization's purposes and your own part in them. Do not try to reach records that are not yours, interfere with the service, or upload anything unlawful.
4. Your organization controls your access. Your organization decides whether you have access, what you can do, and what it keeps about you. If your membership ends, or your application is declined, your access to that organization ends with it. Questions about your records go to your organization. SyncEtc does not charge you, the end user, directly under these terms. Any fees for Tach & Go are between SyncEtc and your organization, and any dues or charges are between you and your organization.
5. Emails and texts. Tach & Go sends you emails about things that happen in your organization, such as a booking, a maintenance notice or a document that needs attention, and you can choose which you receive in your profile. Some emails are about your account itself, such as confirming your email address or resetting your password, and always go.
Tach & Go text notifications: SyncEtc LLC sends text messages about your account with your organization, such as booking confirmations, changes and reminders, dispatch alerts, aircraft maintenance and grounding notices, reminders about documents or currency, and alerts your organization sends its members (such as a temporary flight restriction, an airport or runway closure, field or weather conditions, or a meeting). Texts are off unless you turn them on in your profile. We keep them off until you choose them, as the rules for business text messages require. We recommend turning them on: a text is the surest way for a last-minute change, such as a grounding or a canceled booking, to reach you. The choice is yours. You can turn off alerts alone and keep the rest. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. You can also turn texts off in your profile, where you turned them on. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
6. Keep your own records. Records that matter to you, such as your certificates, your medical and your logbook, are yours to keep independently of any software.
7. Limits on liability. We work to keep Tach & Go available and correct, but we do not promise that it will be available without interruption or free of error. To the extent the law allows, SyncEtc is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your organization's decisions. We do not exclude anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Age. You must be at least 13 to use Tach & Go. If you are a minor where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms with you.
9. Your privacy. Our privacy policy explains how we handle information.
10. Changes. If we materially change these terms, you will be asked to accept the new version the next time you sign in. Until you do, you can still see everything about your bookings and any grounding, squawk or safety notice, but you cannot make or change a booking.
11. Governing law. These terms are governed by the law of New Jersey, and any dispute will be heard in the courts of New Jersey.
12. Contact. Questions about these terms: SyncEtc LLC, support@syncetc.com. Questions about your membership, your dues or your records go to your organization.
